Paradox of choice is real
We have so much choice, we have so many subscriptions, tv, old blu-rays, vinyl but still we have 'nothing to watch'. YouTube and social media doomscrolling have because safe spaces as we don't need to commit to a choice longer than 5m in fear of not enjoying something or getting it wrong. We have been robbed of our commitment to a choice. Ads are everywhere, can we trust reviews?, what if I don't like it?, what if my partner or friend won't like my choice?.
Curated enjoyment
We just want to take your choice problem away and let you just enjoy the time you have. It doesn't matter if you have watched the movie, binged the series during lock-down or skipped through the album on Spotify, just take the picks and go enjoy, don't overthink it, don't get distracted, just go and immerse yourself in quality content. Entertainment does not have to be new for you to enjoy, in fact I would mostly argue that only consuming new content is robbing us of the deeper connections of repeated watching and listening bring.
if you or your friends don't enjoy our picks, then blame us! you are absolved of the responsibility of choice.
What makes us qualified to curate?
Absolutely Nothing. Some say we have great taste, but in reality we just know what we like and that is mostly enough for others to like our picks too.
Sometimes, you just need to do what is right in front of you
